Ski width

How much difference does ski width make in the park? Like how much better is it to have something 80mm as opposed to 90mm?
I've getting some new ski's this year to dedicate to park but I worried about something to narrow in case I go out of the park when I'm riding them. Would a 85-90 waist perform the same (in the park)?

you'll be fine no matter what. Get whatever skis you want. If you don't suck at skiing then they will be fine both inside and outside the park, whether they are 80 or 100 mm in the waist.

I'd say anything from 80-90mm for the waist. I have a pair of scratches and pocket rockets that I ride and I actually prefer the pocket rockets for the park, it just gives you a bit more to land on.

wider skis are just as good everywhere it may take a little while for you to get used to it but its gonna give u a wider platform for landing, sliding rails and everything else....

wide skis are sweet for jumping and landing on but they just spin a little slower, so if you're looking to huck 9's off of 30 footers get an 80mm ski otherwise if you can only have one get aa 85- 90mm ski. Or if you absolutely must spin off of rails 80mm is better too. The tradeoff everywhere else with a bigger ski is rediculously good.
