Replying to Dilema (what do I do)?

So last night a family friend died unexpectedly. I used to mow the families lawn, and the kids used to baby sit me when i was young (they are both much older than me). the funeral is saturday, but I have had plans to ski friday, stay overnight at a condo that nioght, and do a comp saturday. My parents have left the choice up to me. Do i go to the funeral, or ski? I was very close to the family, but I didn't interact with the one who died much...what do I do?
