IE shows crappy pictures

my firefox broke so i have to re-install it, but right now im using IE, and the picture quality is so bad on it. firefox was clearer and stuff, why is IE so bad wiht pics? how can i change it?

when i try to re install it it says its running, and i cant get th eprocess to end, i'll try rebooting my comp, but still i want nice looking pics in IE

now norton wont let it go, and i enabled it through the firewall thing in norton. what could be wrong? when i set my firewall to low it works, but not at medium where i wanna keep it.

since when does firefox make the quality better? i have that and i dont even use it anymore cas ie is just what i am used too (not like theres too much of a difference

this is the only computer ive used that this has happened. if i copy the picture and view it in paint or photoshop or anything else it looks great, just not on the web
