Hey, i need to hand in a dvd i made myself in around 1 hour and a half. Everything was going fine as i finished my editing and starteds burning a dvd. Around 45 minits later it was done. I stuck it in the dvd player and to my dismay it said "no disc, please insert a disk" i tried again, but no, i tried a playstation but no, i tried a seperate dvd player but no. I now need to burn another cd. i was using a cd RW, can anyine think of anything that went wrong, the data is there, but the dvd player doesnt read it.

is it a +R or -R you dvd player may not be able to read one

yeah not alot of older DVD's players read RW, i just got a new phillips dvd player that plays all formats, even .WMV, .MPEG4 and -R, +R.

RW is not needed anyway its like 2 times more expensive and when do you even re-burn a dvd? never i just got a 100pak of fujifilm for 34.99. they are becoming as cheap as cd's now

also your playstation might not play the disc becasue the old versions of PS2 dont play all formats. i have a version 1 and it doesnt play anything but +R or soemthing. the newer playstations play all formats.
