has anyone mounted them any where besides the suggested mount point, just curious. if so, where did you mount them.

I have the 183, and I went mid-sole. They are mounted with freeriders so they are for touring
Don't mount back at all, the mounting point is already very far back. I know a few people who have gone slightly forward, but everyone I know who mounted at mid-sole loves them.
