My opinion: DEFINATELY not as good as the western backcountry but still amazing if you know where to go. I ski alomst every weekend at Sugarbush in VT, so i know almost all of the good spots there but a new spot i learned of this year was brook north and im so psyched to get in there and check that shit out. anyway, where do you think the best Back Country skiing is in the northeast is, and whats the best? the chin at stowe? church at sugarbush? tucks at mt. washington? donde?

i'll be doing some BC stuff this year in the adirondacks of NY. most of them require telemarks skis or a rather heavy snowshoe trek in(heavy because you'd have to carry your skis and boots) Wright peak in the ADKs is a possibility

jay peak is ok. they have good glades, althought im not sure if there is deep powder in the woods. it depends on the snow they get.
