I'm trying to decide where to go on Feb 2006 to ski.
Have been on Keystone and Vail before but I would like to try some place more powder instead.
Has to be in CO. Any Ideas?
TIA.

breck is much better than keystone. a basin and loveland get more snow than others. winter park gets more snow than breck, keystone, pretty much everyone besides a basin, loveland, wolf creek.
i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc
I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

you get a pass to breck and its good at keystone and a basin, keystone has the sickest rails ever, breck has the nastiest 3 pack around, and a basin has sick bc stuff.

vail steamboat and aspen are all fun when there is powder. out of those id say steamboat is my favorite just cause the snow is alot softer and you can always find cliffs and stuff if you look in the right places. and ive only been to aspen once so i dont know much about it. but vail has a cool park and its soooo big you can always find cliffs and stuff but its just more spread out.

YOU want powder bro?? Go to Wolf Creek! Best skiing of my life was last spring break at Wolf Creek. My bros and I went down there, they had gotten 48 inches of fresh in the few days before we got there. The night before our first ski day, dumped like another foot, and continued to snow like constantly for days. By the time we left they had accumulated another 3 feet of fresh ( this was over like 3 or 4 days). There was Nobody there, and seriously by the time you rode the lift back up your tracks would be covered. They have some sick cornices near the top. Awesome hike-to terrain killer trees. Only downsides are no park, and a slight lack of vertical. Another bonus, most people that ski Wolf are Gapors and texans on vacation, in other words, all the sick terrain is to yourself. They have no base development so if you stay on the resort side of the pass, nobody can get in an it is seriously a ghost town. I RECCOMEND WOLF.
