Oktoberfest in Munich

Who has been? Who intends to go now or ever?

Well, I was there this weekend and I recommend to everyone that they go at least once if they can. I could get into details but it would be better if you just went and found out on your own. Ah, Deutschland, ich liebe dich.

I was there three times this fall. Absolutely fucking ridiculous. If you want to rage it but don't want to wait hours to get in a tent and then pay ridiculous amounts for your beer, just drink at home, show up at around 10pm when they don't give a fuck who's coming in and out of tents, and wail on drunk girls from every corner of the earth.

next year will be my third. the place is crazy so much fun. and if u want to travel around after check out ruisrock in finland its a mad rock festival this year 69 eyes played rammstien, him i would only go if your into heavy drinking and metal. octoberfest is good for everyone though. oh and eat those beer nuts.

The closest Ive goten to that is the bier Oktoberfest by Spaten which is made in Munich.

2009 bump.

Guys im in florence, From washington state, Me and my girlfriend are lookin for a place to lay our heads. in munich, we have sleeping bags and sleeping mats. I'm willing to treat you guys to a present. Possibly a ski wine rack. or cash...Can anybody help?

I've been to (probably) the biggest Oktoberfest celebration in North America in Kitchener, Ontario. It's good times, but there is no way it compares to the real thing.
