What the fuck is going on over at Line?

Seriously does anyone know what is going on with their team. So far Wilson went to Salomon, Bibby and Parker are on K2, Skogen is on Volkl, I remember hearing that Ashley and Dash switched teams as well. The only person I haven't heard of being dumped is Pollard but I assume with all those other people getting dropped so did he. Did they just drop the whole team? I assume whatever is going on is thanks to Trak Inc. who bought out Line last year. Fuckers. So does anyone actually know what is going on.

Why did they even make bindings? There is no innovation besides moving them from ski to ski with the pre-drilled holes. They should have just built a really thin plate that can fit Salomon and Look/Rossi.

They will never have as bomber bindings as Salomon S916/920 or Look P18/Rossi 180. Why even try.

In reality you don't need all the plate and shit and the retension spring in the middle to design a binding that will latteraly from the heel. You dont need the entire heel piece to move either. Something like a hybrid toepiece with a ramped stepin system that splits the two "heel" wings apart to allow your boot to enter would work just as well. That said, it would take a burly ass spring to even come close to the retension setting you would need to keep a larger skiier in.

Oh, and the line binding is the most progressive thing in the ski industry since elan did the parabolic ski thing, which obviously was just as much of a bad desicsion as line sticking behind these bindings.
