pro deals

I have been working in a ski shop for a month now and my manager just told all staff that no one would have access to pro deals untill they had been working there for a full year. is this a standard policy or am I getting screwed?

I am not doing the grabs because I am getting a thrill out of touching my ski-JP Auclair

different stores have different rules...talk to your reps and see if they wont to hook you up at all

dude, that sucks for you. i work at a ski shop and we can get any pro deal we want. my dad is the owner and manager, so it might be different cuz he's cool with all the workers, not a jackass.

yo is it even worth workin in a shop full time...i was thinkin about it for a while cuz what could be better than talkin about skiing all day, but then this guy i met who works at a local shop told me not to even bother...even though its a rad environment and you get hooked up with nice deals, you only get out on the snow like 10 days all winter...whats up with that?

The one time I worked with skis (the ski dept at Sports Authority - what a joke), we all had access to the pro forms (Elan, Dynastar, and Groove). Too bad I wasted my money on a pair of shoddy skiboards (I got Elan TRXs instead of Dynastar Twins or Groove Taxis). If I knew then what I know now, I would have order Dynastar Rip Sticks (can we tell how long ago this was?). Ah well, if I had gotten something good then, I wouldn't be heading out to Tahoe for a week of free-heel madness like I am now...
