i sawd it and it was really good. I liked it better then war but it was organized kind of weird, like there werent really different sections and you had to figure out who you were watching

You can tell the different sections, you just have to look a little closer, the names are on signs, walls, etc. Once you see them it is INSANE! Makes for dope transitions between segments, very clean.

Colorado you can see Shanghai Six today in Aspen at 1:45 or in Boulder at the Flatirons on Oct 1st...bring diapers, casue your going to shit yourself!

urban booter was sick. they built two channels to stick your skis in and then covered it in water and got towed in by a yamaha raptor. they landed on a huge piece of plywood covered in astro turf. i sfaw back fronts 3s misty 7 and cork 7. it was so sick

But fuck bro. It may have not looked good but the people hitting it had balls. All the pros there were like " no , bad idea we could get hurt." But then a tele guy comes out first hit and throws a front, without ever trying it in practice, and lands flat on his back, just to get up and do it all over again. I give mad props to the 3 who hit it. And wait till next year it is going to a full on competition and like 3 times the size.
You have to remember that this was the first time that anything like this has been done. They are just trying to find a way to progress the sport further in off season and I see nothing wrong with that.

Then rails without snow = lame. I know what you mean but I thought it was sick and next year it is suppose to be a big deal. There will be entry fees and like a huge money purse and all kinds of sponsors with free giveaways and stuff.

What I witnessed in Ogden was the stupidest thing I have ever seen....A wooden jump...3 horrible skiers....an in-run covered with motor oil for lubrication...a 4-wheeler...and a landing which was plywood and carpet....
I wish I had a video camera to show you all. If anything, it was fun to laugh at, thats it.
The premiere was ok. I mean, who can complain about a free movie? But the screen was very small, it started to rain half way through the movie (which would have been ok but the movie was shown outside) and it was all the way up in Ogden. The movie from what I saw was amazing...I give them that. But the jump was by far the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

Then the other two are also amazing. Mike is money in the park and the other guy is the strongest skier i have ever seen in my life.

OK....there is no way anyone can defend how stupid that jump was after seeing the video of it posted above.
As far as that JT kid out skiing everyone on here, I would love to have him step to the plate. Just because he can get towed in behind a wheeler into a wooden jump and land on his back doesn't mean he can out ski everyone.

I had a chance to ski with JT one day last year up at Snow Basin. He is by far the sickest skier I have ever ridden with. 1st run of the day he lawn darted a 35 footer. the rest of the day he charged harder down anything and everything.

He might not amaze you with his park skills, but I guarantee that he kills it as hard if not harder than 99.9% of the people on here.

Well that is just spectacular! I am sure he is a killer skier, but it still doesn't change my mind about what I saw oon 25th Street in Ogden. What the hell was DNA thinking? It was a total shit show. It was better than driving straight home afterwards...basically it was a great comedy act and something to make fun of. Way to go DN"GAY"!!!

the urban jump was so fucken sketch. it was like a plastic ski track, shaped like a jump at the end. and then you landed on carpet. this guy was putting motor oil on it. it was wierd. and the rope on the atv wrapped around a guys legs and dragged him on the ground. he spilt his head open and was covered in blood. yeah the movie was sick but the screen was damn small, and a storm moved in and made the screen flap out of control.

Bottom line, everyone has to give DNA some respect and support for premiering a free movie and attempting to do something that has never been done before. I agree, it wasn't the most worthy jump I have ever seen but it was in fact a jump without snow. Not an easy thing to do.

From what I saw the movie is the best L1P has produced to date. Sick editing, amazing riding, and unbelieveable shooting by Berman and Freedle. Definitely worth checking out.

I also agree that DNA deserves props for trying to put something together last minute to get people excited about the season...The movie was sick, DNA gave away a lot of free stuff, and to say the least the crowd was definitely entertained by the jump
