Choosing a style

well, i'm kinda torn right now between what colors of outerwear i should get. i know for sure i'm getting burton gear, and i've narrowed it down to either the burton 2/1 system jacket or welded cargo. (one is more waterproof, but lighter, one will be warmer and less waterproof.. so there's another thing i gotta figure out).

as for the style, i'm stuck between choosing all tan (fossil), that new plamo, and black jacket, silver pants.

any input? i have no idea what in the hell i want to do. i find the plamo style is dope as hell, but maybe too steezy for me... i'm more of a plain sorta guy, it's a tough call, and i can't really figure this out on my own.

stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

allow me to shed some light for you. I am in your boat, I love steezy looking things and love them at first. But, from personal experience, I am guessing after a few weeks of having the Plamo style you won't think it is so amazing, and the truth is, 80% of people out there think it is ugly. So go with some more solid colors.

As for the jacket selection: the Welded Cargo is plain sick. It may be slightly less warm, but I think that is better because you can layer and still wear it on warmer days. Plus, the waterproofing on that is off the heeze, and the jacket goes well with so many other things.

The fossil color is definitely nice and I would recommend it. Color it up to personal opinion. I personally LOVE the blanc color for the Welded cargo, I think it is amazing. That is your call though. This year I got the Burton Maximus in white/slate blue. Check out the maximus, it is super nice. Also, I think the best deal on the Burton site is the AK cargo jacket. 20K/20K for $229.
