Ebay shipping

i hate people on ebay who get extra money off you by charging 15-20$ for standard usps shipping. There's a combat jacket (spring jacket) on ebay with a $20 shipping rate - please.

I mailed someone a 2x4 coat (a lot heavier) for like $5 bucks I think. $10 is the most is should cost to ship a jacket via ground.

Yea, but the fact of the matter is, they can charge what they want. If you dont like it, you dont have to bid. Most people will over-charge for shipping usually because they feel their item wont sell for enough, and then some are just greedy....heh

in all honesty i would hike up shipping a little if it meant more money for me. But that is only on ebay not on NS.

they're not "getting extra money off you" because you're supposed to read the entire auction before you bid, i.e. the shipping rates. if you bid and and then realize that shipping is 100 bucks, thats your fault, not the sellers.

would you believe that Ebay actually suggests that you do that? in the sellers tips it suggests one ask more for shipping than necessary

I usually make $4 in shipping, which I justify as my handling fee.
