Alright, so right before Hurricane Katrina hit LA, MI, AL....the US did something that might explain why this (Rita, Katrina) is happening. In the book of Joshua, God promises to curse those that force the Israelites from their land. Now this is assuming that the nation of Israel (including Gaza) is the land that God promised them. The US is basically forcing them (the Israelis) out of Gaza so the Palestinians can live there. I heard that from a friend and it seemed plausible. A few holes, but still....makes you think huh?

Im sorry to say this, but this is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. I mean, if everybody thought like your friend, every single country should have had something horrible happening to them, since not a single country doesn't do anything wrong. We should implement bar rules here, in a bar you are not suppose to discuss religion, politics, and something else I forgot. but that rule never sticks because people get drunk and forget and start fights, religous discussions and political bullshit is one sure way to start a fight, now that I said that. I don't care about peoples bullshit religious beliefs because everyone is just trying to prove that everyone else will suffer the consequences from their respective gods, treat people well and don't try to change peoples belief systems because that is bullshit, organized religion is one giant contridiction....fuck you people make me sick

yea hurricanes have hit that area longer than the french have inhabited it, and before the spanish even stepped foot in north america. hurricanes even 100 years ago killed people, so its obviously because god is pissed at the US

If you really looked into what Ariel Sharon is doing, you would realize that giving the Palestinians some land is an extremely smart move.

The Palestinians haven't had their own land, and have been fighting with the Israelis over it for centuries. The fights have been taking place in the streets among groups, mercenaries, and extremists, and there's not much the Israeli's can do about it. The fights are among the people and there's never been a distinguished battleground.

By giving the Palestinians some land he is establishing borders. Think about it. All the Palestinians are going to be concentrated in a small area of land. That land will be their own nation.

Now, what happens if the Palestinians bomb Israel? That no longer is a domestic fight among Jerusalem's own people. The Israelites have just been bombed by a neighboring nation, and that's an act of war. The Israelites can then declare war, and send a missile right in the area where all the Palestinians are grouped together.

acutally theres this wierd little thing called the environment, and you get this cycles and systems and shit, and then sometimes you get hurricane. earth had hurricanes a long long time before isreal, palestine, or the u.s. existed. faith often serves a role as a sort of huge comfort blanket for people; in this case i would suggest that its a dangerous one too. your idea, while retarted, it the sort of shit lots of dumbasses will buy, and inherent in it is the idea that god/israelis are to blame for katrina.

just out of interest, if you believe that the hurricane was a consequence of american foriegn policiy, why arent you doing something about it? my brother, you should march on the capitol and burn the white house for so flagarantly violating the testament.

yeah sharons policies and general presence of Israeli troops were causing problems in Israel itself over the justice in there presence in the strip. it wasnt really a US thing. we have been a major powerplayer in the hunt for a peaceful solution there, but sharon needs to do this. israel is split. some want to re instate this one guy...i think his last name begins with an N....he used to run israel but he left in order for sharon to get into office...and others want sharon to be more peaceful. sharon chose more peace than fighting harder like some in israel are pushing for. so lets see how much longer this step will keep him in office. there is just too much of a disagreement there with religious beliefs in Israel for this to go smoothly. and obviously in palestine too.

I wouldn't make up my mind right away and say there is no God. I respect your beliefs ya know. I know I have talked to a lot of people who are simply scared to believe that there is a God who created them, and loves them, and wants a relationship with them.
