Skiing 200 cm park skis

my friend made me buy some 200cm skis yesterday for my park skis. He said those would be a perfect size but everybody is saying that is to big. Whqat should I do?

I have a pair of 200 cm Atomic ABC's (straight cut) that I take out to the park every once in a while (just to mess around). I actually found them in the dumpster of my local resort!!!

holy shit 240s?? Thats crazy. I found some straight 200-205's on trash day in my neighborhood. I can't wait to wax them up and ski them. They are old, but it looks like they have race bindings on them. They were quite the find.

205's arent that hard to ski... you just have to know how to turn the skis instead of letting the skis turn for you as shaped skis do

i skied 210s once. basically they dont turn at all below maybe 15 mph & the only way to turn them is unweighting them and pivoting your lower body.
i skied exclusively on straight skis from 1996 till 2001-thats all that was available to me. now i can ski on pretty much anything cos i got used to muscling those beasts around.

no, the atomic speeds take the cake. in the new ski magazine some guy tests them out. keep in mind that the same pair of skis the guy tested was the pair that took the world record holder for speed on skis 150mph down a mountain. the bitches are 235cm long, weigh 22 pounds, have a 95 meter sidecut radius and don't turn past 50mph.
