anyone crazy bastard who drops cliffs the size he does has my respect. admittedly, when i met him he did say 'hi, my name is jamie pierre.' it felt like he was name-dropping with his own name. he seemed nice enough though. some people sometime put up a cocky front to be funny however. i usually try to be modest but i'm sure i come across as cocky if not showoff-ish to some people.

I was riding up a lift behind him at alta this year when he got off the lift he just started skiing over an entire group of peoples skis that he didnt know to go look over the edge of the trail. Didn't excuse himself or anything. I thought it was really funny.

i don't know. after reading about how he treats the alta lifties (thinking that he's so much of damn god that he doesn't need to show his pass) i lost a lot of respect for him. yelling at the lifties with lines like, "do you know who i am?!" makes him sound like an ass.

i would compare him to muhammad ali if he was actually better at skiing to other pro's, but he doesn't do anything except fall off big cliffs. i want to see him do something skillfully, like riding away from a big drop.

read some articles about him. theres one in a recent magazine and stuff, and it tells alot about him. hes a true skier, he skis to get away from all his childhood problems and stuff, so its kinda funny. he was a pretty big partier, it said hed get blackout drunk, wake up in the morning, take 6 bong hits, and then get his coffee. but yea, i read an article last year to about him and it says he has seizures that the doctor say are probably from a diet that consists of pop tarts and coke with the occasional 185 footer thrown in there.

this guys straight up crazy, and for all you raggin on him, i doubt youv ever skiied a cliff. cus when you do, a 50 footer seems like the biggest thing in the world. now triple that. its alot bigger than some stupid park tabletop.
