ACL surgury recovery time

I just tore my ACL in the first football game of the year. Im goin to where a brace for the rest of the football season and then get surgury after. dose anyone have an estiment on how long it will be after the surgury till i can start sking and things?

if you can play football with a brace and be fine, then you can ski with a brace and be fine as well... i highly doubt you can though if it truly is fully torn... if you can, mad props and wait to get surgery till after ski season
however... once you do get surgery, its usually 6-9 months depending on how bad it is torn, how your body heals, how much/well you rehab and what other ligamnets are torn. i have hears as little as 2-3 months and as much as 2-3 years, but those are weird cases...

my mom is making me get surgury right after footbal season. shes only leting me play football cus that the only way im gana get into a good colage.

if u do really intense PT and work everyday u could be good in 4 months, id quit football now, get surgery now if u want to ski at all this next season

i want to ski so bad but football is all i got to get into a good school. its a realy shity posision to be in. i just hope im not in alota pain throughout football.

i had a torn acl for like 3 months b4 surgery, it doesnt hurt at all unless u twist it bad or somthing, ull be fine
