Vx2100 or Hdr-Fx1? I know the Vx2100 is a good cam cus it's been out there a while but what about the hdr-fx1? Is it worth the extra? what kinda of filters would I need for snow filming?

^if you looked at a page of specs for both cameras you could probably conclude that the HDR-FX1 is better for obvious reasons. but if i were you i would save my cash and buy the vx2100 because right now there is no actual way to burn HD footage to a DVD and maintain the quality. if there were higher capacity DVDs on the market and dvd players that could handle H264 encoding i might say otherwise. but overall I think you will be glad if you spend a grand less and buy a vx2100

^even though you arn't getting hd on the dvd's you'll still notice a difference in quality. I mean when a major motion picture is released on dvd it doesn't look like it was filmed with a vx2100.




My weiner is probably harder than yours.

i also like the low light ability on the vx2100
anyone have one used? i like buying my stuff used cus i tend to beat up on it sooooooooooooooo
