Replying to Ski/Snowboarding Conflict

Alright...to make a long story short....i have been fightin with some snowboarders at school about which is harder and more respectable, skiing or snowboarding? Anywayz, i don't want skiing to look like shit. They basically say skiing is too easy and they wanted a harder challenge like snowboarding. So....post up some reasons or facts or sumthing that i could use against them to get my point across. Any help is apprecaited.
