Global warming

Global warming got worse after katrina.
I was watching cnn and they said that katrina and other storms were pushing warm waether towards the top of north america. In a couple of years somehow it will destroy the ozone causing the uv rays to melt the snow. Other storms around the world will contribute to this. Our commader and thief is not worried about this cuz he ''thinks'' that it won't be a big deal and everybody will like the heat. FUCK YOU BUSH.

What none of you relize is that when you drive you are making it a little warmer, now times that by all the people who own a car or suv.

I am pissed off allredy because I already have to wait untill december to ski.

global warming is a fucking joke, there have been times in the past that the same type of warming trend have happend, there is proof. Sure we might be SLIGHTLY adding to it, but we might as well speed up the time til the next ice age, i think from now on its either gonna stay the same or just get colder....

k so plz dont get me involved in a political debate but hers some info global warming does cause greater snow yeilds becuase more water is evaporated into the atmosphere from water sources because there is more water then in the atmosphere when the water vapor hits a cold place below freezing it will snow more

did you say tropical storms are causing ozone depletion? from what i know they're unrelated. CFCs are the reason the holes in the ozone layer are getting bigger, which is why more uv rays are getting in. it just doesnt make any sense to me that hurricanes are increasing the uv rays. are you sure you heard that correctly?

Ok morons, what brought us out of the iceage? GLOBAL WARMING, ASSHOLES DRIVING SUV's, AND GEORGE BUSH HIMSELF DESTORYING THE OZONE. OK wow my fucking keyboard is gay...

The earth has weather cycles. There are spans of years when it is really hot and when it is really cold. Basically the only thing pollution will do is delay these cycles. You see storms aren't causing a warm climate. It's actually been historically proven the earth has followed a somewhat specific weather pattern. The only time it has been taken to extremes are the ice ages. Which i do believe we will have. We are on the warm side of the cycle. So on and so on it will continue until we reach another ice age. To tell you the truth i think global warming is kind of a croc of shit, but then again it isn't. Blaming bush for global warming is one of the most ignorant things i've heard today. I have heard a lot of ignorant things said today. So if anyone wants to bitch about global warming, call up your great grandparents and ask them why their companies dumped raw pollutants into rivers streams and the air. That's who you can blame it on.

first of all the main cause of global warming is the... u guessed it SUN and let me just remind you that 25 years ago every "scientist" was harping on and on about global cooling. The earth has cycles get used to it! We are not that high and mighty that we can change the earth. The earth is stronger than we are.

But we have technology these days by taking samples of very old dirt, rock and using carbon 14 for plants we can tell what teh climate was like millions of years ago. Lateralis im really glad you argued against me, i knew someone would. I appreciate you volunteering to be made a fool of though. You may realize that we also have a few theories on how the dinosaurs die. Most include some sort of weather prediction. But, we do have technology to date back very far and if you ask any legit scientist he will probably explain it the way I did.

So was corporate America responsible for the warm up after the ice ages or could it possibly be a cyclical trend of warming and cooling? I mean, I know Halliburton has only been around since 1919, and we have only had fossil fuel power for a couple hundred years, but surely the warm up after the last ice age was a vast right wing conspiracy. Bush hates minorities, so he must be warming the earth so super storms can take them out where they live. By the way, did you here that Bush's no child left behind program may have caused the Tsunami? I don't know how, but I'm sure it did. He did it to kill those brown people on the other side of the earth.

For the record, I really don't like Bush that much. I really disagree with his environmental/ immigration policies, but for God sake, think before you make dumb claims like that.

id ask why this argument has to persist... but that would be stupid. basically you on the right need to realize that people on the left blame bush for problems like global warming because it is more of a leftist issue, one disregarded by the right, and bush is the current primary figurehead for that entire way of thought. so, while it may not be his fault, hes not doing anything to make it better right now, so when bush is brought up, no one is blaming him for all of global warming, its just a complaint of current inaction directed to the top of the chain. also, you cant be naive enough to think that a population boom of 5 billion people over the last thousand years or two, couple with the more recent use of fossil fuels.... a process which BURNS a resource which could be much better used for synthetics ancd such... so weve got millions of intense fires burning all over earth... how could this have no effect? its just not possible. The degree to which the problem is exacerbated by us, and by who, isnt really important...

why cant people just take care of themselves? theres a pretty fucking good chance that we are changing the weather, bu in the long run... it doesnt really matter at all probably, people may die... but its really no big deal, theres too many of us anyway. but hey, why dont you just ride the bus, ride your bike, stop punishing yourself at the gas station with a land cruiser, dont support coal... i dont know. but uh, try and be responsible for yourself?
