u can go to lake placid year round, i skied at whiteface and there was little bike trails, but u ride them in summer not winter, but alot of the shops close at 6pm,

i went to college there last yr... its jsut a small ass town... really nice but not much going on

and yea, everything shuts down at like 6 its rediculous
