he definitally wasnt the innovator of hip hop but he did bring it to another level along with tupac. i cant believe you have dre before tupac as well. tupac was and is the best rapper of all time. his lyrics were just unreal and he could flow like no other. notorious would kill tupac in a battle though

i think pac and big would not like what rap is today one bit...well commercial rap, the game would be so different if they were still in it....all rap today can suck my dick its discusting how bad the lyrics... such as chingy, mike jones, slim thug haha, pit bull, gunit (even though i listen to it to ski to)

some ok rappers today would be dialated people, twalib, mos def, nas, and then underground shit such as AZ, comerga, gift of gab, zion, ect

haha you guys are so hung up on north american rap...those of you who say they know rap very well...then you should know that in other parts of the world they have rap artists at war and their war is much bigger then the rivalry between pac and biggie...

in germany theres 3 huge crews and thats some real gangster shit over there none of this commercial shit 50cent pussy artists who can't battle nor rhyme for their life who just happened to be million airs...

in germany they actually rap with way sicker beats and way sicker rhymes you have no idea..and their not rich at all ...what ever they make they give it to their groups so they can survive


im not a pro on rap cause i personaly dont listen to it however i do know that.

listen your ideas are just personal taste issues not fact. true rap/hip-hop is inheriently american all others no matter how good it might are all trying to imitate the good ole' usa hip to the hop.., and yes 50 is a shitty mc although he is straight gangster if there ever was one he took like eight bullets and survived he is not some random millionaire that decided to rap, it was the other way around

Nah man It's not about Puffy, it's all about BIG. Puff just danced in the videos, got his face in there, while BIG BLEW up Bad Boy.
