I was thinking the same thing. blindside late switch up over the rail gap, then switch out? That was the most creative trick in the movie.

Here is a crazy story that has little to do with Andy Mahre – Back in the late 70’s my dad lived in Seattle. While my dad was starting to hike some mountain, these two guys ran past him and continued to move quickly up the trail. Before my dad got to the top, the two others were already running their way back down. When he saw them he recognized them as the ski racing Mahre bros. He was going to talk to them, but being the considerate mountain man that he is, he decided no to interrupt them. The End
