Replying to "hip hop style" in skiing

I posted this in a thread in ski equipment in response to some complaining that freeskiing was started by punks so we should all dress like indie boys.
Thought some of you other monkeys could stand to hear this as well.

"Last time I checked skiing was a sport and had no connections to any particular type of music. When's the last time you saw a guy at a hip-hop show wearing snow pants?
Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and realize that this "hip hop style" you're complaing about is actually just skier style."
