Replying to ignorance...

it seems that this is the term de jour among young folks who want to say somthing poignient and intelligent sounding, while at the same time attempting to rip on someones oppinion, or somthing they said...i would be curious as to the number of people who use this this term without actually knowing what it means. this just brought up another point in my brain ill throw out there... many people who claim to be 'open minded' about things are often quick to condemn those who oppose one thing or another for whatever the reason may be... this practice irritates me to no end. it seems to me that there is a continued spread of liberalism and gradual shift form the right side of the political spectrum to the left in this nation. im not sayin its a good or bad thing, it just is. i cant stand it when people are attacked for conservitive veiws in the name of 'open mindedness' isnt attacking those with conservitive veiws being closed minded in a way? i guess the point is that these are a few of the cultral cliches that i see prevailing in our society today.... no one can say if somthing is right or if somthing is wrong.... if they dare take a stand on anything they are oft times labeled a bigot, or a relic of a bygone time... feel free to chime in if you wish...this little thought was spurred by continuous threads ripping the government, president etc, with no supporting thought... i am greatfull to be in a land of diverse political opinions, as long as they are inteligent, and have genuine thought or beleif behind them...
