Dropped my phone in a sink full of water

and now it won't turn on. i tried plugging it in and it turned on but turned off after a minute. right now its doing this weird vibrating thing when i hold the power button. help

u probably shouldnt have done anything and just had it dry first

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

my girlfriend did that washing dishes....take the entire thing apart and let it dry overnight, then try and charge it and turn it on. that's all you can do

Dude let the phone chill in front of a fan or preferably a dehumidafier for a few days, make sure the battery is out and dry because you dont want the battery to erode, if it was only in for like a minute it should be fine, I left my phone in the pouring rain for 2 days once, the battery end things eroded but the phone was fine...

i think this was posted before, search it for exact directions, but get rubbing alchohal and like put your phone in it (a bowl of it) and let the alchohal evaporate, and it will suck all the water out of the phone wtih it or something.

I left my mini disc player in the rain for a week, ina pile of dirt...it worked fine after a while, we alost put it in the microwave as a joke because we thought there was no hope at all

also my ipod did fine in the rain after drying

same with cell phones I guess

Like said already, dismantle everything (even better if you unscrew the major parts) and leave it to dry over night. I left my phone in my pocket when I washed some shorts last year, dried it out and it's been fine ever since. Camera doesn't work now but who gives a shit.
