Hello All –



Thank you again for the tremendous support for saving the jump! We are still validating the most recent numbers, but it does look like we have over 1000 valid names and over 300 from District 2.



Some of you may have seen the news today, but it looks like ICER Air is tentatively on. The tentative date for the event is Thursday, September 29. More importantly there are two meetings prior to this date that you need to mark in your calendars. The first date is Thursday, September 15. Icer Air has organized a community meeting to deal with neighbors’ concerns. It will take place at Cavalry Presbyterian Church, 2515 Fillmore Street, at 6:30pm. The second meeting is on Thursday, September 22. The Interdepartmental Staff Committee on Traffic and Transportation will be reviewing and hopefully approving the permits for the event. The time and place for the meeting still needs to be determined. Both of these events are extremely important and we encourage your attendance.



Please forward this information your friends. It is critical that we have a solid count prior to the September 15 meeting. Also please check out our website. We will be updating the numbers by September 12 and we have added a new page with previous claims and facts about the event and concerns stated.

I wanna go kick that bitch that canceled it the first time in the balls. I've got first day of classes with one mr. ride1080 on the 29th. Why would you have this event on a weekday. It's gonna be a ghost town out there, those who don't have school have work, not to mention the cluster fuck it's gonna do to business traffic in the city. An event of this magnitude deserves a Saturday or Sunday, Thursday is an embarrassment.

I went to the meeting today. Basically it was a bunch of REALLy old people complaining that the $2 millilon insurance plan won't cover the damage if there's a flood/death/fire etc. Don't know why but one granny kept on talking about her house going up into flames.

Anyways, they moved the event to Thursday so that the crowd would be smaller, but now the school teachers are complaining that it'll interfere with kids.

It's all bullshit. the people living in that neighborhood suck balls.

Thank you again for last night’s attendance. It definitely made an impact and all we can ask is to continue this tremendous support.



As you know, the ISCOTT commission will be reviewing the ICER permit next Thursday. We have posted the information for the meeting on the www.savethejump.org website. So please go there for meeting time, room, parking availability and maps.



Secondly, there is another way to express your support. KNBR has their The Extreme Scene show on Saturday night from 8 – 9pm. Please call in with your support for the event. The more voices heard the better. The number to call into is: 415.808.1050.
