i used to ski on long skis but then i thought about it and like im never going to be as good as any of those pros so fuck this shit and i bought some blades. ijust go jibb with no poles its so much fun to just not give a shit

yes, long skis own lil ones for just about everyuthing. and even with jibbing, if they are a lgiht ski, they are still spinnable, and the longer tails and noses give you alot more pop in ollies/nollies.

it depends on what u like to do, if u like to huck big spins, go shorter, i personally dont, but know many who do: for example, im 5'9" and if i wanted to spin, i would rock a 170-180, but i rock a 188

short skis man those are the illest. Like i would get some of those snow blades. Those are so cool. Everytime I see some one on them I'm like "I got to get some of those, those are the coolest" But I can't find any. Plus they are so sick on powder days and you can spin like much faster. But if youre gonna get some go with the big foots, those are the originals and have mad ol school steeze.

...Anyways, long skis for sure. For many reasons too.

-They look way better than short skis
-They have better stability and control than short skis
-They have better stability when in the air, on the take off, and the landing.
-You will probably grow in to them, so you wont have to buy a new pair every year or two because they are too small
-They float better in powder and are more controlable in powder at speeds
-Buy long skis!!! :D

buy skis according to how hard you ski, if you suck, dont buy long skis... and dont buy them according to how tall you are either, skis cant tell how tall you are, only how much energy your putting into them.

short skis, make it easier to spin and turn but thats it. Longer skis make landing easier, rails easier, give u better stabilty and help u rip in powder.. and adds a whole lot of steeze to your skiing.

i currently have 163's. i was gonna buy a new pair in the 170 to 180 range but since i dont know how much longer im gonna be skiing im just gonna ride these till they croak. its a waste of money in my situation so fuck it. if anyone has a problem with the kind or size of ski im using. take it up with me face to face

its just stupid to ski on short skis. They chatter like shit, look stupid, unstable....Long skis are so much better. thats whats different about skiers to skiboarders(as well as ski bladers being fags)
