Is there a way to change a video file

is there a way to change the video file "bin file" into a file that can be burned onto a dvd (movie not as data) such as a bup, vob,ifo,cue........

i dont know names because shake 3.5 does it on my mac. just search in google and the download over a p2p.

if you have a .bin it's a cd (or dvd) image. so, you need to burn it.. there should be a .cue file with it too. with nero, you just open the .cue file and it should take care of the rest. if there's no .cue file then you need a bin->iso converter and you can then burn the .iso.

got the avi thing but when i try to change the bin into a dvd file it gives me an error msg

hey do this.. if you don't want to burn it as a VCD.. this is what I do- kind of weird, but it works 99% of the time for vcd's:
- download and install winISO here ..
-go to the help menu->enter registration code found here: http://www.seriall.com/key/winiso_5_3_1.html

now restart winISO and open the bin file. if it's a regular VCD there will be a folder on the left hand side called "MPEGAV" or something like that. inside that folder on the right side there will be one large file "something".DAT

drag that file to your desktop - rename file and the extension to "whatevermovie1of2.MPG" and play it.
If that doesn't work - i'd suggest burning it (or fake burning it) with nero.
