yo the triplets look wicked. either that or that sites wrong or somtin. people should get these. and for a farely good price. if neone has tryed them any reviews???

You don't need 3 bindings, you just pick your favorite combo, mount them up and ride. If you end up damaging one, put the binding on the new one.

The triplets do look sick but when I was holdin them in the shop they felt like a balloon? What are they made of. Atomics have been light but I thought they were going to break in my hand!!

think about this, if they have to give you 3 skis "incase" one breaks, do you really want them. plus if you do break one and use the new one that was left in the beginning it will perform completely different than the used ski, different edges, the flex will have weakened.

Atomic should only be allowed to make race skis

Equipment is expensive, and i need lots of new stuff, i love being a poor college student!!!!

Yea, I dont think its that great of an idea.

I have never snapped a ski. Mine just gradually wear down over time after enough rail sliding from sliding the edge...to sliding the base....to sliding sidewall until I'm down to sliding core. One extra ski isnt going to help me too much, because both of my skis are in pretty shitty condition from sliding, and if i replace one, its only a matter of time before the other original one needs replacing as well.

Unless you are hardcore and snap a ski every season...its really not that much of a deal.

If you had a bunch of cash tho, buy 2 sets, then you get 3 pairs of skis for the price of two. :D

The ideal set up is to have 3 skis with 3 bindings so you can rotate the use of them saving the skis and lamking them last longer without purchasing all new oneS

i remember some one was talking about getting 2 other friends together, and buying 3 pairs of triplets, and everyone getting 2 skis

You + 2 friends, split the cost of 2 sets of triplets (6 skis), and everyone gets a brand new pair of stix for around 300 bucks. It is a good deal.

i don't think its a bad idea at all again how many people have broken 1 ski before and had an extra just lying around? i've heard of it countless times on ns i don't think its a bad idea if armada or 4 frnt or ninthward did that would there be a different response? the answer is yes

Do you think a local ski shop would let you buy one binding if you all ready have two? Another option would be getting line reactors and a freedom plate.

wrap your mind around this:

you go out and buy a brand spankin new pair of armadas or dynastars or something and you break a ski within a week of using it, what are you left with? absolutely nothing unless you have an old pair kickin around.

with the triplets, you have the option of getting the neox614 three pack so you've got one binding for each ski. in this case, you can continuously rotate skis giving them an extended life of 33.33%. in the rare case you break one, you send one ski for warranty and you've still got a pair of skis to ride.

for the record, i've personally never seen anyone break an atomic twin tip. i've seen tons of armada, k2s, dynastars and lines break but never an atomic.

you've never seen a snapped atomic twip tip because so many more people ride armada,k2,line, rossi ... skis. I have seen a pair of stomps get snapped, and tweaks.
