before the oil costs make ski areas raise ticket prices....expect 80bucks a day at many resorts...the plus side will be that this will be an empty season
remember...even p-tex is a oil based product

Even the big corps don't make shit on the ski areas. The only reason there are still big areas is real estate. Since you have to be a millionaire to afford a house slopeside, you can consider even running a lift freeloading on the MAN>
Most of us don't have $s we need $s to feed the habit. Help squeeze the juice out of those that have it. Be nice, encourage the groms, make those suckers feel like they got their $s worth , be it passes or condos... I love to hike for the POW, but I don't think I could keep my own park in great shape

it is true that alot of resortsw have bought fuel, but im sure that they buy some during the season.
the thing to do rigth now is to just try to conserve as much as possible. that means driving less, turning lights off in your home, taking shorter showers, car pool, and so on.
if you want gas prices to go down AND pass and ticket prices to stay the same you need to conserve.
and if you are the person saying that if everyone else does it, then you dont have to, then youre wrong, because if you think that way, chances are ALOT of people are going to think that way, and every gallon of oil conserved is better in every concern

you know what, we are already being ripped off so much with ski resorts, I mean does anyone have a clue how much profit the resorts make???? A shitload of cash for sure. So fuck the raise, skiing's expensive enough, there is no need to raise for anybody except the big ppl who want to keep their profits really high

My pass was only $200....
Besides, large scale places make so much money elsewhere besides oil consuming products and uses, like your $12 hamburger you have for lunch...
