Oakley Helmet Kit...bullshit

Ive been hearing a lot about people who just need the oakley helmet kit for their goggles. Is it just me or is this 'Kit' just a bullshit piece of junk designed just so Oakley can suck $20 more out of you on top of the $130 they made you pay for the initial goggle. I have A frames (only cuz they cost $40 on sale) and they are fine on my helmet. Capitalism is really starting to suck.
If anyone can tell me otherwise of why this product is so neccesary id love to hear.

Is the helmet kit that little strap that goes on the buckles? I have smith goggles, and they have a clip on the back, so they dont fit in a helmet notch. Theres a strap i bought later that allows you to put the goggles on a helmet. It was the smith one, and it cost only 3 bux. Is that what youre talking about? Cause 20 is kinda expensive just to make goggles work

the $20 helmet attachment you are talking about makes it so the goggles fit your face better in the helmet, it also has silicone on the strap(three rows) so that the strap does not slip off if you do not have a clip. As you said you feel that with out this they fit over your helmet. I rocked mine without a helmet strap for a year. I got the strap last year and it is not necessary, but it does help. It took th pressure off the sides of my head and made the goggles fit my nose. Befor the strap my helmet with the goggles without the strap I had an opening for air on the bridge of my nose where there was no pressure. the strap solved it. Just stating how they worked for me but as you said it is not a necessity if you wear a helmet, but there are benefits.

I have a frames and a giro 9 and have no problems, and my buddy's got a frames and a flint sc and doesn't have a problem. He gets Oakley stuff at cost and doesn't see the need for anything more.

Try wearing the strap under your helmet, it won't affect anyting, and it should fit comfortably...
it's what i do anyways...
