Replying to Everyone and their political perspectives lately.

maybe its just me but it seems like withen 10 minutes of event's involving the united states, newschoolers members seem to come up with the most intelligent and intellectual comments that would save the world from utter disaster if only they were in charge.

not to point anyone out, but i read a post from jodi yesterday stateing how shes incredably dissapointed with what is happening in new orleans following hurricane katrina, and how man is heartless and eventually the world will end.

i to am also upset by the events occuring right now, however i also realize that no matter what i say or personally do, there is very little that will help. its not like me stateing my personal oppinion on newschoolers will open other people eyes to conflicts in other countries. does this make me heartless? i dont think so. i also think that basing the end of the world on a few 'heartless' men is a bit far fetched. i once threw rocks at a couple kids i didnt like in public school, does that mean every other grade 6er at the time is heartless? surely my actions dont account for everyone.

ive also noticed that people like to bash president bush. dont get me wrong, i very much disagree with some political decisions that he and his office have made, but i probably agree with just as many as i disagree. I also understand that he as president of the united states is constantly in a position to make very difficult decision while under the eyes of all american citizens.

think about it, no matter what decision bush makes on any topic, there will be just as many people that dissagree with his decision as there are people that do.
he is the president and im sure he makes decisions very carefully after factoring in all possible outcomes of the situation.

which is why i find it so interesting that people sit down for a night, maybe watch a little CNN on the tube, then come up with the most easiest answers to solve all the worlds problems as if they were involved in politics from day one.

i very much realize that people are entitled to their opinions and can express them whenever wanted. hence why i am making this post.

i just dont understand why everyone thinks this world is such a easy place and that everything should be peachy all the time.

people complain of katrina as if its some world altering event because thats all they have been hearing lately on the news. mean while more random and innocent people die from suicide car bombings in certain third world countries on a monthly basis. no one has any answers of how to solve that issue?

my point? well mostly, if you dont know what your talking about, dont talk about it. politics is a very difficult topic to which i am majoring in and still know very little about. if the answers were that obvious, im sure the most powerfull political party in the world would come up with them aswell.

and im sure your probably thinking this is my own political perspective and that its very hypocritical for me to state my opinion on policitics after complaining of everyone else's.

in that case re read my post and realize that i have not taken any political stance solely based on what i read in a newspaper article or saw on the 6 oclock news.

my prayers go out to all those in need right now no matter what serious disaster they might be caught up in, and im sure everything that can possibley be done IS being done to help.
