Replying to Thoughts about skiing, freestyle, movies, competitions ....

the fun of the first years is now gone. riders are kids, nothing new is done, movies look the same, tricks are just spins and grabs ...

the same things everywhere.

i miss the good old time, the beginning of moguls, the first freestylers (cusson (the best), auclair, dorion, ...), i miss fetish, the tribe, i miss the times where every single day a new trick as created ...

i miss the days when I was so amazed seing Cusson and hi swinning in X games (720 fakie to fakie), when i was amazed to see Moseley's 360 mute in moguls, to see morrison's skiing style with straight skis ...

to me, with the riders we have now, the sport is dying ... like snowboard, only people trying to make money on it (how many new ski companies every year? that's crazy!) ... like snowboard, we are gonna die ... they aimed good skiers, then kids, then non skiers, then girls, ... then what, dogS? fuck marketing!

at least will remain the hardcore skiers who were of all new stuff.

I hope i'm wrong and something new is coming, coz i feel like we definitely neeeeeed it!
