At this point, New Orleans is all but unsalvagable. The really sad thing is that a good portion of the refugees still in the city ARE GOING TO DIE becuase of the slow response of the federal government. There are 20,000 people at the convention center and no law enforcement, food, water, or medical supplies. The government has admitted that the situation has spiralled into anarchy. Many more people will die before it is over. New Orleans is probably gone for good.
