Freedom plate

they are for skis other than lines for the ability to quick mount. i have never used them so i cant really answer any more of your questions

Let me see what I can answer.

so what is it all about, does it work?
-It's a plate you mount on your non-Line skis or any ski without Lines quick mount system. Its just turning screws to put the Reactor on the plate.


do you need a shop to get the plate mounted?
-I'm not totally sure, but I think not.

does it only work with lines?
-Nope, its mainly used for Non-Line skis so you can use one pair of Reactores on many different skis

do you feel the plate while skiing, due to the thickness of the plate?
-Don't know, never rode them, I'd imagine not a whole lot

can you still cross your skis without touching the plate?
-I cannot honestly see a reason why not, I mean its mounted under your boot and binding.

how are the reactors anyways?
-Every review I've heard, sketchy, ride them for yourself before you go and spend money on the and the Freedom plate.

I could be wrong on some of those but I'm pretty confident thats my best opinion of them I can give you without owning them.

yeah i think the only shop that really knows what they are doing when it comes to these bindings is jibij. its their pro team binding and people that get them setup there have less problems. at least that is what i have heard from this site

they are the worse bindings ever made... i broke like 4 of them in under 2 months... absolutly horrible save 100 bucks and by looks

I've heard of a few people who are very happy with them - usually people who get them set up at the shop.

The freedom plate should be mounted to non-line skis by a tech, they screw into the ski like normal bindings do. The rise won't make much of a difference, I've never noticed it when using demo bindings.

hows about the din setting?

e.g. can you ride the reactor 12 at twelve or is it like other bindings where you cant use the last two numbers if you wanna see the binding come off at least once.

yeah its true, they have a ton left that they will ship out this season but production of the binding has stopped

so what is it all about, does it work? the freedom plate lets you mount the reactors on other skis than just line. of course it works.

do you need a shop to get the plate mounted? yes you need a shop because it is drilled into your skis like a pair of normal bindings. if you can find a shop certified to deal with reactors that would be your best bet

does it only work with lines? no, you dont use the freedom plate on line skis. line skis already have the 4 hole inserts built into the ski so the freedom plate is meant for all skis other than line.

do you feel the plate while skiing, due to the thickness of the plate? no. the plate isnt heavy at all and it isnt even very high. ive ridden skis with the plate before and you dont notice it.

can you still cross your skis without touching the plate? what do you mean cross your skis...in the air?? of course. you can do every single thing that you do on any other pair of skis.

how are the reactors anyways? reactors are fucking awesome. so safe for your knees
