savethejump.org would like to thank everyone for their support! This morning, a list of 502 names were delivered to Mayor Newsom and Supervisor Alioto-Pier. As of 9pm this evening, an additional 200+ names have been received. This is only the start and we need to keep on going. We have not heard back from the Mayor's office yet regarding the outcome of the meeting, but we are assuming that the event will move forward.
Again we ask that you please tell a friend or send this email to friends. For residents of San Francisco, we have created a flyer, which will be distributed door-to-door. The flyer is available on the website. For those who do not reside in San Francisco, don't fret! Support outside of the city is needed to show the tremendous support for the event... from the skiing/snowboarding community, from other cities and states in the US, and from all the other great countries!
Collecting over 700 names through email in just 48 hours is phenominal. But remember (as an example), the number of registered voters in District 2 alone is over 50,000. So our intent is to make an impact, an impact that will be recognized by the City.
If you have any questions, thoughts, comments, please feel free to send us an email.
Otherwise thank you again!!!!!

Now if my math is correct, 700 is wayyy lower than the thousands of people who use NS. Now please save this friggen jump by signing your name!
