so i'm from ontario, 20 years old... had the plan to move to BC for the rest of my life since i was 14.... 6 years of planning... last year i met a girl, she knew the situation... im leaving when im 22... got a college degree, money in the bank... you know how it is.... we fall in love, she starts talking about moving in with me, all this craziness... she remembers about bc, and gives me the ultimatum... BC or me, i pick BC.. (hard to do when you love somebody) she says that i should grow up and forget about my dreams, stay in ontario and start a family with her..... fucking women

gracias on all the kudos for the right desicion i made.... and yep, she said that i should people grow out of dreams sometimes, because there impractical... shit is hilarious... its honestly just really really funny, because theres no way to stop me...

i've got an assload of lute saved up, a sick degree, a great resume, ski instructor training, a bartending certificate, a nice quiver of skis, a few guitars, a harmonica and 3 longboards

I know exactly how it is man. My girlfriend and I broke up after I came back from out west. (I came back to finish up college and plan on going back out west - most likely for good)

She came out there to visit and on her last day out there she basically told me we wouldn't be together for a long time (more than a year) - contrary to the whole Idea of being in a relationship. I was always under the impression that a person gets into a relationship and expects to be there untill they have reason not to be. It wasn't even that she had decided not to ever move out west, it was that she knows she'll never be able to decide to leave ontario. So after a horrible 2 months out west with no snow I come back and it's over.

Coming out of the haze afterwards I began to see that the real problem wasn't where I'd live.... love does conquer all, I still believe. She never understood me, this girl doesn't understand your obsession with going out west, you don't understand her obsession with staying in the big schity. If she's not willing to even move out there for a short time and try to understand then she's not worth it. If she wants to complete her life at 21 she'll be really disappointed. The people that understand you best will tell you that you can do better, because you can man. no matter how hot, nice, smart etc. this girl is.

That being said, my ex moves onto my street on sunday, oh what fun. and I live with one of her best friends. this ain't gonna be a fun fall.
