i want to get a good park ski and a ski that will carv when i go out and ski almountain every once and a while. im goin to center mount it and i want to know how the t hall skis and holds up center mounted. also how far is the edge rounded up?

you will not be able to get it completely center mounted. the mounting plate isnt very big and doesnt go all the way up to center. it goes a very little bit past core. i got some t halls mounted a little past core and they seem perfect, never ridden them though

o also, the edge is only mounted where the mouting are is, and you cant even tell, its such a small differnce its stupid

i had the ar5 and they were really sick. they carve pretty well and i was surprised how well they handled on ice, they were good

dont ever center mount an Armada ski, they have a great recomended line allready , stick with that or your just trying to hard.

if you want a ski that will carve than the thall is NOT ofr you, i suggest ar5, I have them and they are magnificent all mountain, and carve exrtremely well switch

ar5 and the thall are esxact same dimentons and build, just one has rounded edges and crazy butter zone things, and one doest, if u are planning to do more than park, get the ar5 center or where they have the mount mark, i put it where the mounting mark is and its like 1 inch of extra nose

hes not sayin tanner doesnt carve hes sayin with the t-hall pros u will have alot of trouble carving. which is true. depending on the conditions

^not exactly, they would just be like havin skis that have been jibbed on for a few days, alot of ur turn is at the tail and tip of the skis

i got my ar5s mounted 1 inch in the back of center. they seem to be the best twin i've ever ridden on groomers. flexy and stuff for the short turns but still not flubby when it gets to high speed. till 60 mph you wont get in trouble with those. they hold on ice, its amazing, i mean for twins...

im thinkin about getting the ar5s but i have not ridden them. are they kinda heavy and stable like the public enemy or more of a light jibbing ski that can still be used all mountain. i had the public enemies for a while but hated their weight so i got got mojo 80s which i am relatively pleased with. does it seem like the ar5 would suit me?

By tanner's i ment the skis, no HAHA tanner hall does not turn..... I own them and have skiid them over 45 days this past season and there not that bad. they still carve if you know how to carve but its kinda funny alot of newschool kids cant initiate a good carve so they dont know what there talking about. They ski fine if you dont suck

dude u live in ohio, youll make 3 turns and youll be down the hill i doubt youd notice a diff between those skis. youd be skiing allhill not allmountain. straight up minnesota style

T thalls are great i even rounded my edges even more because i was still catchin with my front ski i have them centered and they are perfect

As the AR5's they are great too i personally like them better due to the stiffness but both skis can definatley carve and both have exteme amounts of pop

I keep my edges dull all the time on all my skis so none of my skis carve at all on ice

do i just got a pair of thalls, they seem nice but i have yet to ride them. i do have a pair of ar5s and i love them, there an amazing ski and hold their edge like no onther, they pop real well to. mine are on dead center tho, its sick now that im used to it, but it does take a run or to to get used to i will admit, once you do to, youll never go back!

what are you talking about I have some old ar5's, 04's i think and i havent had them mounting, I am highly considering mounting these at true center but now i heard its impossible, why?? and if the ski allows me to mount at true center why woulnt I??

depends on what kind of snow. i would say ar5 if you get a decent amount of snow, or if your always on a horizontal ice rink, but if your gonna stick in the park a lot, id say t-halls and thats for anywhere ice or nice

my suggestion, get the ar5s regardless if you ski park 100% of the time or not. Why, just because the rounded edge is the dumbest thing in the word. Unless you are more focused on rails then maybe, or if you have a second pair of skis to ski the rest of the mountain. Im not knocking on them, im just saying having the t-hall as your only ski will hurt, so stick with the ar5s
