? abot sponscerships and progressing yourself

can anyone tell me the steps to being sponscered and when you bedcome an am or a pro. being a pro would be wicked cool, and how good do you have to be to have a pro model. also is tj schiller pro? he is really good but is on the am team, i think they should give him an am model.

i think these days you need to look back...old school is what us sponsors are looking for...daffy rodeo's are really really really hot...i mean like justin timberlake hot...also i think if you have a special talent like if you can roll your stomach or if your double jointed...that really helps

k, first of all, you want to call my main man jonny decesere (sp?) at poor boyz productions and ask if he can come film you for a couple months to make you a sik promotional video. it'll probably be like $50 but it'll totally be worth it cause when you send the video to all the popular ski sponsors like 4frnt, armada, burton, k2, and elan and maybe even send some to ford motor company, ups, and walmart.

so yeah, they'll look at the vid and write you a proposal offer on payments and promotions. whatever it is they offer you, make them double it cause you know you're worth more.

then like, sit back and reap the benefits.

No, not true at all.

As for a magical 10 step process to getting sponsored, at all, just be good, win a lot of comps, get recogintion, make a video if you feel, send it out.

Just read a lot of the bios and profiles on people in the old FREEZE and Freeskier, they always talk about how the guys came up and made it, in their own words.

you gotta be a pro snoblader before companies will even consider giving you skis. its like the porno industry, you have to be in GAY pornos before you get to hook up w/ the girls... so first, snowblade then PRO TWINTIPPER ALL THE WAY BROSIVE.

seriously, you couldnt be more wrong. even though this is a joke.
on the east coast it is close to impossible to make a mark in the industry. when you compete you are against more than just other riders. moms werk at the mountatin, judges score to riders they know, and if an event is sponsored you better believe that someone from their team is going to win. ive been there first hand and it sucks. because even though its a small comp it could help you. on top of that, when we do have big comps, pros come and take reign. thats why there is no progression, at least for the ice coast.
soon the east coast will be unstoppable.

i did hear that if you invent a new amazing trick you post it on newschoolers. then when everyone starts rocking your steeze you make sure the trick is named after you. then you call up armada and they will get you going on a pro model.
