For attending students there, what the "selectivity" of the school for accecptance? What were your grades lik in highschool, and rank, and gpa?

I'm super interested in the school and am going to start looking soon. Just tryng to get some information.

i think all you need is a 2.5 gpa and an 18 on your act, it's way easy to get into.

you have to have a 2.6 GPA to get in and certain score on your SATs and see your score on the college index with those previous 2 scores. i thought it was easy to get in, you don't even need an essay or atleast you didn't last year, but i have a close friend who didn't get in. also like once your in certain departments require certain grades like i have to get a 3.3 or a 3.5 to be in the business school.

What does a 2.5 or 2.6 translate into for an numerical high school grade? i.e. 70's, 80's, 90's?

it is easy. there is a scale on their website i believe. if you do well on your act/sat it won't even matter your grades basicly. utah.edu

UofU is an easy school to get into I'm a failure and I got in, plus I make the deans list every semester. If you can't pass your classes there just quit life.

Yeah but you will be applying as an in-state student, which means as long as you have a pulse and can fog a mirror you're in. I have some retarded friends that were accepted.
