Replying to Ipod people looking to get others music

i just found out how to do this by accident with my ipod, but if you have it enabled for disk use, you can right click on the icon under my computer, click open as portable media device, click the icon, go into ipod controll, then music, and all of it is in folders, with weird names, but when opend in itunes they have the names perfectly. if you could attach somebody elses ipod to your computer, you could do this (w/o a third party app). i havent tried it yet, but i thought i might throw out the idea to all of you.
