Deviated septum

so yesterday i had a "nasal septoplast" surgery done. which is docotor for septum straightening surgery. I'm jacked up on percoset, but im wondering if anyone here has had this surgery before and what the recovery is like? When will my noce stop bleeding?

no it will bleed for the rest of your life. haha my bros friend had that done i think, his nose turned out fine

becuase my nose was so bent out of shape snot couldnt drain. so i was always congested/sick.

they did mine yesterday. im assuming your day after really sucked too? but what about acouple days? what happens to all the dried blood in my nose?

wow, i didnt think that this surgery was that common. thats pretty sweet that like 5 out of the 7 replies are either getting them or got them. good luck to those of you who will be getting them.

I had it done a few years ago. Definitely worth it...I'm not congested all the time like before.

You'll be fine in a few days. The most interesting part is going back to get the splints taken out of your shnoz. I assume you have splints in your nose on both sides??

yea it sucked...i'm still all bandaged up...i get all that off on monday...for the dried blood and all that i got saline spray. its kind of a pain to spray it and all but it works. i cant wait to get all the bandages off though they're driving me crazy.

i got punched in the face a while back and i think i broke my nose. like right by the nostril there is this hard... cartiladge i guess because there is no bone there... that sticks out and makes it a little hard to breathe and pick my nose and stuff. i don't want to get surgery though because i have had my fair share so far during my lifetime. damn.
