BC base and edges

How well did your bc's base and edge hold up against rails. I just got mine in and I notice the huge difference in thickness of the edges compared to line skis and liberty skis. I know that they are made for backcountry and etc, but I will be using them in the park and just wondering how well they hold up against rails.

from wut ive heard, they hold up pretty well. im thinking about getting a pair this year for a park ski. never skied them tho.

I beat the shit out of them. They held up, but the edges did crack..I skid over 100 days on them hard, and did tons of rails and tons of core shots..Great all around ski....

As I stated, "I know that they are made for backcountry and etc, but I will be using them in the park" I'll still be using them in the park meaning, I'll also hit rails. It just happens that I got BC for my one pair of skis for everything. And they are still good in the park, so...Anyhow, I'm not a rail craze. But I will be hitting bit of rail and just wanted to make sure it'll be straight.

In one season mine took one crack from spinning a box (behind the heel) and a core shot on a rock. I use them for everyday, if anything they are more stable on rails. Mount em at +2 and your set.

It didn't snow last year. I spent a ton of days jibbing ROCKS(not rails...) on Grouse Mountain, because it was that bad.

I have 1 minute core shot, and edges that took a beating and yet only need a tune to get back to fully functional. No cracks, no delamns, no nothing. The only thing I can say is that crossing up for mute grabs resulted in a little bit of topsheet chipping, which doesn't result in any real damage to the ski (cosmetic only), and they've fixed that problem on the new scratches with a little bit of a cap on top of sidewall construction

Durability wise, scratches get an A from me.

^ still chips like any other ski, just dump a tiny bit of superglue on so no water gets under anything and its good.
