About 5 days ago, I was notified by my soccer coach that a younger teamate of mine had a brain tumor. He quickely got surgery to remove it, and it turned out benign and everything seemed to be ok. But, after the surgery, the doctors couldnt control the bleeding and put him into a medically induced coma. It looked okay, but the next thing I know, today I was told his brain activity was no longer active, and he was going to be taken off life support tommorow. How fucking ridiculous is that. This is a nice, normal, 15 year old kid who woke up one day with a headache and now hes on life support and may actaully already have died. I cant believe it. This kid was perfectly fine 7 days ago. I'm the captain of my team, so i had to call some of the players and tell them, and it must have been the hardest thing ive ever done. Its just not right.
Has anybody else ever had any experiences like this? Its out of control, about 6 months ago another former classmate of mine died in a car accident.
