I'm not saying he is not a good skier, cause he is. And those 3s and 5s and sws backcountry jumps where really stylish, but lately I've heard a lot of people telling me he's so incredible and his part was so great, so I watched it again and this is what I found:
He does more or less 19 Jumps, all plain rotation (some cork and some unnatural, true) but 14 out of 19 with a SAFETY GRAB, 3 or 4 are not very crossed MUTES, and one is NO-GRAB. I think one of the things an incredible top pro skier has to do is LOTS OF DIFFERENT GRABS and that is not shown there, just safetys everywhere. I read this thread where lots said that he would own the new K2 bc comp next year, so this is to argue that I don't think so.Just an opinion...

you say no grab like it's a bad thing.... i think it's one of the illest things to do and to make it look good takes just as much skill as a grab

are we forgetting that he is throwing right and leftsided spins well over 70-80ft in the backcountry? Have you ever hit a 70ft jump? Into powder? or corn snow...? THere are so many more varialbes other than a nicley groomed park jump...and most of the hits hes doing are first hits...meaning he doesnt trow a straight air first off. He has to scope it from below and judge it himself...thats incredibly ballsy...so do yourself a favour and eat a dick...

the one cork there (it might be another film, just know it was a cork 3 to powder he did last year) he had 17 tries on before he managed to cork it

besides, in X How sick was that 360 nose tap on the pole, over the cat road gap? I was there that day with mark and tony while they were shooting with Johnny...Kurt Heine set the shoot up for his boarders and after mark (switch 3 tail tap) and tony (360 nose tap) killed it...they bailed off to some other part of the mtn...scared the boarders off.

how does everything on this site end up an argument about whether or not tanner thinks he's black. for one, anthony's segment was sick on every level that a segment can be sick, it incorporated alot of things, and most of all something he thinks is important in his life other than skiing. and as for tanner, i have decided all you kids who claim tanner acts black have seen wski and nothing else. if you would have ever spent any given amount of time with tanner, you would realize he is just a normal kid who likes to wear his clothes baggy. it'd be like you all wearing your everyday clothes the same size as your ski clothes. so shut up and get over it. sheesh.
