Who's seen Sin City.............

if so, has anyone figured how the three stories tie together?...........if they're even supposed to

i think they kinda are supposed to show how people link with one another. like you see people from different stories show up in others. all 3 stories had people from different stories kinda in the background, that's alli can think of. it kind of relates to what the guy says at the beginning and end of the money about finding who your looking for.

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

No i Read in Some Comic Mag my lil brother had that it signifies a cycle the girls get the guys in troulbe and bruce willis killing himself show the end of the cycle

IDIOTS. Well, okay, not idiots, but the movie is based VERY TIGHTLY on three Sin City comics:

-SIN CITY
-THAT YELLOW BASTARD
-A "something" KILL (I forgot)

and some small stories,
BUT it's about Sin City in general. No "tieing together".

Marv's story is Sin City, That Yellow Bastard..not too hard to guess and the whole Miho episode is The Big Fat Kill. Superb movie, but the comics are ven better.

but i definatley think in the movie the directors were trying to show how people in th different stories relate in a way. like for example, the took a part of a scene from one of the other books that were not the 3 main ones in the movie. the part where dwight is at the bar talking about marv while he's sitting as his table.

in the special features frank says that the waitress "britany murphy" is there to tie all the stories together ... dotn knwo if theres any actual significance though.

The waitress is Shelly (played by Brittany Murphy... and she SUCKS, so I'm amazed they managed to make her look less than incompetent), and she appears in all 3 storylines. First walking up to and winking at Dwight before his little inner monologue about Marv, then as a central Character in Dwight's story, then talking to Hartigan later on when he asks where he can find Nancy. So I guess in that sense she "ties them together", but it's a very loose tie.

i know they were trying to stay true to the comic series but that shit could have tied back together at the end so hard it would have blown minds.

but still one of the sickest movies i have ever seen

the first story line was so cool, but they never really explored the mute guys enough i thought. I wanted to know more about that.

uhh lets see its starts with the girl gettin saved and junior privates blown off then after that it all revolves around that bar, cuz u see the first guy in there and the huge dude in there watchin jessica alba and you have the guy that eats people with the cop and the other huge guy

do u know what i dont get? what the fcuk does the first scene with teh chick in the red dress have to do with anything in the entire movie? nothing...that pisses me off...or is that the "short story" that is supposed to be used throughout the entire movie? and then get re-connected to it at the end?i dont know...killer movie all together though

It's just to show that Becky will be killed. The story of Becky dying and the chick in the red dress are both short, two-page stories. I guess it's only there to tie up the loose ends.

i didnt follow how the plots all came together but i thought the movie was incredibly good.
