Tele bindings

i know there are an extremely small percentage of tele skiers on this site, but hey, its worth a shot. i need a pair of good tele bindings for my new skis that came today. anyone?

my friend rides the mike nicks tele on ns he is twintipteles. he got the bomber bindings and they are sick. they are pritty expensive, like he spent more on the bindings than the skis, but they are so solid and they keep the skis close to your feet and all but eliminate the lag of popping with tele bindings. so yeah they are so sick.

yea im a member there, and i klnow about bombers. god, i think theyre like every tele rider's dream. those are fucking nice. but yea, sadly i dont haev that kind of money, so im keepin it real with the G3's and the Voile Hardwire, theyre cheap, like 120 new.

Bombers are cool but WAY too expensive, just go for the t3's unless you have a little more cash you can get the new step in binders, they are pretty cool.

you gotta remember tho, the bombers are expensive but you're getting a three year warrantee (i've broken my previous two pairs of bindings in a year each) and very easily replaceable parts. if i get a three years out of my bombers, then thats the same as three different 100ish $ bindings over the same period of time. plus, sw-ups are so much easier on bombers, its almost like cheating

i hear ya on the switch ups. my friend rode em and said that they were pretty stiff and switch was pretty easy. but yea, right now i really dont have the money for bombers.

I like my G3's just because I can usually find replacement parts in most tele shops. Bombers are sick though and well made but I'm not sure about how they hold up. They look beefy but in B.C. you'd be fucked if you had to find parts you'd have to order them.

but it would be almost impossible to break them, they are in many ways much more simple and therefore durable than cable/cartridge bindings, plus they look so damn sick

yea dude, i dont think bombers would just break on ya in the BC. they are pretty bomb prof. ha..yea well back to the orignal topic, anyone got any bindings they want to sell?

I actually meant in British Columbia but it's a fact that bindings can and do break in the backcountry. Eventually you'll be met with binding failure, last two years ago i was sled skiing with some friends in Harvey pass and busted my cable about 20km in and at the bottom of a valley. lucky my buddy had some spare wire that we were able to rig them up for the climb out. Then i had to tow 20km out behind the snow machine. but anyway ya the bombers are sweet agreed, the only point i was making was that they have fewer dealers than G3 has.

true fact, bombers and plate bindings such as the linken are alot more reliable in my opinion. but then again, you sacrafice alot of weight for that.

and hopefully theyll go down in price cus i want some really bad. people just need to know how good they are. they really are an amazing invention. but as far as i know, you can only buy em off their site.
