Look p10....how they release

Hey guys, quick question...I am looking for new bindings and have heard a lot of good things about the p10. However, they say they "protect skiers in the pivot" and stuff...this isn't like those tyrolia bindings that can release the skier from the ski diaganolly, is it? Because it sounded like a good idea to me, but it really just sucks cause they come off so easily. Do these ski bindings have that diagonal release, or no?

its not the same diagonal release mechanism. the heel just pivots soyou can come out. However, p10s have a reputation to NOT prerelease, and are known as some of the most trusted bindings for alot of freeskiers, so I woudl expect to prerelease less with them than tyrolia's which are notorious for prereleasing. I own look p10s as well, and they never prerelease, but always come off when they should.

alright, great. Yeah I just got new 04-05 PE's and want to put the look p10s on them....little bit of a step up from my 02-03 head mad trix with the tyrolia diag-release bindings.
this binding sounds good though, I think it will be a solid choice. thanks for the help.

i have some p10's on my karmas def. no prerelease what so ever, they always come off when u need it too never when u land a jump to far in the back seat and the binding will just be like haha fuck u, and u will release and fall on your ass and face, the p10s won't release in that situation
