Ski magazine: so gay

my parents get it and i was lookin thru the buyers guide and i noticed some pretty stupid shit. First they show a pic of the crowbar in the goggles section and say it is the wisdom, which isnt a big deal but kinda dumb. Next, when they sorted the skis for review, the salomon foil in included in the "freeride XL" section along with the karma, and the gun is in the "freeride XXL" along with anothe volkl ski with like 93 mm waist. Isnt xxl supposed to be something like the prophet or even the maden ak?

in all seriousness.. how can you go that high on a tree without pooping

i just wanted to point it out beacause i think the fact that they put the gun, which has a 90 mm waist in the XXL section is giving people the wrong idea. Ski magazine has a lot of readers, they cud at least put the volkl sumo or something in there to give the mainstream ski community an idea of whats really out there.

Yeah Ski magazine sucks major nuts. I have to say though, skiing kinda steped it up a notch this year. Like it still sucks compared to freeze and freeskier, but its not too bad anymore

i dont mind it. some of the articles arent bad. plus when theres fuckin one ns mag on the market and that mag only comes out like fuckin twice a year you have to read something else. plus if you were a true skier it shouldnt matter waht mag it is. you can still look at the pics and dream about owning a house in jackson hole someday when you look thru the real estate section. whateva

Not to bash on you bro, but have you looked at any other skis other than twins? Some skis out there are THIN as can be. A 90mm waist is how we consider the prophet to them

skiing soley exists to sell real estate...that is the ONLY reason ski mountains are around

mags like ski and skier support the lifestyle of the pepople whom spend the moneyand buy their kiddies their passes....

u may not like it but its a mag for yuppies...if your not one then dont worry it...easy as that
